Scott Reseter

Scott Resetar, PT, DPT, is a member of the Virginia Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Institute orthopedic residency class of 2016-2017. Dr. Resetar received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois-Chicago. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) section on Orthopedics, the Illinois Physical Therapy Association (IPTA), and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). Prior to graduate school, Scott received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois-Springfield, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012. Dr. Resetar is also a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a Computer Systems Planning and Implementation Specialist.

Scott enjoys service work and has worked with Health Leads as a patient advocate. He co-founded the Hearts and Hands Project at UIC which sends PT students to Central America to provide physical therapy services. He played football in high school and enjoys all things related to the game. He also enjoys powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, playing guitar, and spending time with his fiancé.
