Greg Delano, PT, DPT
Dr. Greg Delano is a Richmond native who earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University's College of Health Professions. He has assisted teaching Doctor of Physical Therapy students in Human Gross Anatomy and Spinal Manipulation. His expertise in anatomy has given him a passion and skill for orthopedic manual therapy. Greg is Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) Certified. Dr. Delano enjoys designing engaging rehabilitative exercise programs for all populations and physical therapy diagnoses, in an effort to make exercise an enjoyable and highly effective treatment. He has 9 years of focused experience working closely with a strength and conditioning coach which has expanded his sports-specific exercise prescription skills. He has extensive experience with combat sports such as wrestling and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Dr. Delano received his undergraduate degree in Human, Nutrition, Foods and Exercise at Virginia Tech prior to earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While at Virginia Tech, he practiced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and he currently spends his free time serving at church, trail running with his fiancé and German Shepherd, playing guitar, and performing CrossFit workouts.
