Kelsey Quinton, PT, DPT
- Board – Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
Dr. Kelsey Quinton’s journey to become a DPT started in high school, as she was both a student athlete and interested in the recovery process while working as a student athletic trainer in her off-seasons. She went on to complete her undergraduate career at VCU, when she graduated Summa Cum Lade with a Bachelor of Science, in Health, Human Performance, and Exercise Science. She continued her education with VCU, and graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. Her interests grew to include orthopedics, sports, and manual therapy throughout her course work and clinical affiliations. Kelsey is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Associations.
Coming to work is the best part of her day, as she enjoys helping people get back to their daily life, hobbies, and improved quality of life. She will work hard to help you meet your goals, and will expect the same from you. When she is not at work, she is spending time with her husband, family, friends, and two dogs. She enjoys being outside, running, and canoeing on the James River.
“Kelsey is fantastic. She inspired me to work hard and that we did! Kelsey is a perfectionist and made sure I did all my exercises correctly. Almost right was never good enough. Often I’d get there tired and down, but always left feeling up-beat and energized. If you are looking for a competent, caring and motivating therapist, Kelsey is the best.
Progress Physical Therapy is the best and the reason is the high quality staff. Everyone I come in contact with is caring, competent and friendly. It is also a fun place and it lifts my spirits every time I visit. Will miss seeing everyone.”
