Mia Driskill, PTA
- Physical Therapist Assistant
Mia Driskill is a Virginia Beach native who moved to Richmond to pursue her undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. She later earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from South University, solidifying her foundation in rehabilitation, movement science, and patient care. Mia is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with additional certifications in Functional Movement Screening (FMS) and TRX, allowing her to integrate advanced training techniques into her practice.
Mia has a strong background in athletics, continuing to serve as a player and captain for three soccer teams (two indoor, one outdoor). Her experience on and off the field has shaped her understanding of teamwork, injury prevention, and performance optimization.
Beyond the clinic, Mia is an adventurer at heart. She enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, and traveling, often accompanied by her Australian cattle dog. Her enthusiasm for movement extends beyond professional practice, fueling her dedication to helping others achieve strength, mobility, and confidence through personalized rehab programs.
With a strong sports background and an empathetic approach, Mia strives to empower clients by blending evidence-based techniques with personalized care. Whether recovering from an injury or enhancing athletic performance, she is committed to guiding individuals toward their movement and wellness goals.
