Olivia received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1995 and is a STOTT® Certified Pilates Instructor. She strongly believes in the necessity for an active lifestyle. She strives to create a training environment that not only motivates, but also empowers clients to continually challenge themselves in a fun and rewarding way.
Her passion for health and fitness led her into education in personal training with the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2014 and then to training and certification in Pilates in 2015. Continuing education is an integral part of Olivia's philosophy regarding health and fitness. She has completed coursework and workshops in matwork, reformer, stability chair, barrels, anatomy, biomechanics and postural analysis through STOTT® and Pilates Academy International. Olivia has also enjoyed her time as a Track and Field Coach for the Special Olympics.
Over the years, it has given her great satisfaction to pass along her knowledge and enthusiasm with the highest standard of service, safety and professionalism to those wanting to adopt a lifestyle of physical and mental well-being. Olivia's objective is to have clients gain strength, flexibility and knowledge of proper biomechanics and apply these principles to everyday life, with the understanding needed to manage, maintain and improve the health of the body. Olivia believes not only in fitness but also in correcting muscle imbalances and re-patterning abnormal postures and movement patterns.
In her free time, Olivia enjoys running, adventures with her family, and enjoying the outdoors!
